The RBD is our round back draft damper designed to fit inside the pipe. The welded 2″ deep frame is undersized 1/4″ for easy installation. The .025 aluminum butterfly style blades are attached to the damper using 1/4″ plated rod and bronze bushings. Attached to the blades is a spring closure that seals the blade up tightly against a neoprene gasket.
Standard Construction:
List damper as duct size – damper will be undersized 1/4″
Frame: Sizes 6″ to 8″ – 16ga galvanized x 2″ – welded
Sizes 10″ to 36″ 10ga galvanized x 2″ – welded
Blade: .025 3003 aluminum butterfly style
Bushings: 1/4″ bronze oilite
Rod: 1/4″ round CRS plated
Spring: 1/4″x 2-1/2″ steel extension spring
Gasket: 1/8″ x 1/2″ neoprene gasket
