Flat transition duct for the top and left sides is manufactured by Sheet Metal Connectors, Inc. in our yellow-label union shop using cutting-edge fabrication equipment. Made with Pittsburgh seams, fittings come fully assembled with all the accessories or they can be knocked down to reduce shipping and handling costs.
Submittal PDFAvailable in a range of sizes and configurations, flat transitions for the top and left sides are fabricated with stiffening beads on duct sizes 19” wide and larger which have more than 10 square feet of unbraced panel. Our rectangular fittings come beaded, unless the duct has an insulation covering and an acoustical liner. This requirement is applicable to 20 gauge or less in thickness and 3” W.G. or less.
