Doublewall fittings from Sheet Metal Connectors, Inc. only use stiffening beads on fittings that are 20 gauge or less in thickness with 3” or less W.G. Most double wall fittings, like the radius elbow, are fabricated with Pittsburgh seams and come to you completely assembled with all accessories installed.
The Radius Elbow Rectangular Doublewall Duct is constructed with TDC end treatments. There are two different types of applications:
• Acoustical double wall duct for noise control
• Thermal double wall duct for temperature control
